Lately, Freddy Spool, is a name that appears on more and more flyers and ocurs in various media. As captain of the Vrijbuiters crew he was involved with the hijack of a ferry in Amsterdam. Besides that one of his festival sets is marked up high in the charts of the 3voor12 website (well known website in Holland) and he also posed nude for a DJBroadcast interview.
These actions should not detract form his musical abilities, luckily there’s no reason to, because Freddy’s music speaks for itself. His biggest challenge remains to bring the right sound at the right moment. His passion for music spreads wider then only house music, he’s also into genres like afro, jazz and nu-disco.
