Born in Brazil, raised in Rotterdam, Hugo Toscano got bitten by the electronic bug after attending an electronic music festival in 2003. The bite was so fierce that he immediately bought a set of turntables and started DJ-ing.
Over the years Hugo Toscano made journeys through a variety of genres in the electronic music spectrum and finally landed in a place where he feels best. Inspired by the likes of Danny Howells and Hernan Cattaneo, Hugo tries to create a solid mix between entangling melodies, groovy rhythms and a steady drive. Always focussing on both the dance floor and the mind.
During his three year stay in Brazil he witnessed the explosion of electronic music in that country. There he played at several beach festivals and clubs. One of them being one of Brazil’s biggest, Club Nox.
Nowadays Hugo Toscano is a resident DJ at Pakhuis 15, located in the “Westelijk Handelsterrein”, where he regularly fills the place with warm and deeper sounds.
