Sandeep has been infected by the rhythmic dance-virus from a very early age. Being a fourteen-year old boy, he visited his first acid party and he was hooked straight away by the power of pulsating beats. From there on he developed his sense of serious dance music mainly influenced by infamous clubs as Café D’Anvers, Roxy and Nighttown.
In 2000 Sandeep and a couple of his friends started the dance-site Love2party.nl, which grew to be one of the best visited and most appreciated online dance magazines of the Netherlands, winning several awards. In that same period he bought his first set of decks and began spinning records at small private parties.
Influenced by groovy Rotterdam tech-house, US westcoast deephouse and raw Chicago house, Love2party.nl front man Sandeep started spinning for real in 2003. With monthly nights in Las Palmas, Off Corso, Nighttown and Winkel van Sinkel his dj star rose and soon he was asked to play all around the Netherlands. Since then he played with the likes of Laurent Garnier, Derrick May, Basement Jaxx, Kevin Saunderson and Mr C and played big parties like Free Your Mind Festival, Rockit Open Air, Solar Weekend, Just Jamm Outdoor, Cocoon Clubbing, Global Kitchen, Lunapark and Extrema Exclusive to name a few.
The summer of 2006 was the real nation-wide breakthrough for Sandeep. He played several big festivals like Free Your Mind in Arnhem, mainstage on Just Jamm in Naaldwijk and Extrema’s Solar Weekend and a very well received pumping set on Rockit Open Air. To top things off, Sandeep has been nominated twice as best new talent for the popular “gouden kabouter” awards.
Nowadays, next to playing many festivals, (beach)parties and clubnights, Sandeep is the music programmer for the Rotterdam club Catwalk and he is the host of the popular Dik parties in the same club. His style can be described as a suprising and distinct mix between (deep)house, minimal, house, groove and tech-house. Deep, groovy and uplifting with an energetic drive.
